Life is uncertain. The Bible says we are like the grass of the field that sprouts up quickly and is quickly gone with the heat. We are like a vapor, a cloud, the mist of fog that disappears with the sun. We are like the fragile drops of dew in the morning that evaporate with the rising sun. We are fragile and impermanent. But there is something permanent and unchanging about the man or woman that trusts in God. The Bible says a double minded man is unstable in all his ways. When we vacillate between two opinions of whether God is or God isn’t than we have voted ourselves out of His fold. We become sheep without the Shepherd. The Lord is NOT your Shepherd and you SHALL want.

7“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD And whose trust is the LORD. 8“For he will be like a tree planted by the water, That extends its roots by a stream And will not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought Nor cease to yield fruit.
