God says when we trust in Him He will give us wings to fly above our circumstances like the eagle.  He will give us His perspective that will enable us to soar like the eagle. Isaiah 40:30

When we look to God and rely on His Word He promises to lead us and show us the way .  Jesus said we will have trials and hard times in this world but cheer up, have heart and be encouraged because He has overcome this world.  John 16:33

Jesus said He is THE GOOD SHEPHERD (John 10:14).  He leads us beside quiet waters to restore our souls (Psalm 23).  He leads us to green pastures.  The grass is never greener on the other side of the fence, dear one.  Keep yourself under His protection.  He is the Fountain of Living Water (John 4:14) .  He is the Bread of Life (John 6:35).  He is The Door and only access to the Father (John 10:9).

In Jeremiah 33:3 God says “Call unto Me and I will show you great and mighy things.”   1 Corinthians 2:9 says ” Eye has not seen, ear had not heard, neither entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for them who love Him.”

We are fragile and God calls us precious.  He calls “Come to Me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

The door

Standard

The Good Shepherd says to every predator of the flock “You will have to get through Me to get to My sheep.” John chapter 10 says Jesus is the Good Shepherd. He lays down His life for His sheep and no man can take them out of His hand. Jesus also says in Revelation 3:20 (New Living Bible) Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. The door is both a barrier and an invitation to enter and enjoy relationship. God longs for relationship, friendship, and connection with us. He offers protection but He will remain outside until we respond with opening our hearts and lives for Him to enter and come in. Where is He in your life? Inside or outside?

Found these adorable pedal cars in a hardware store in cape Cod.  Nostalgic.  Sweet.  Low tech.  Me.  lol.  I drive a PT cruiser because the whole nostalgia thing appeals to me.  I am my mother’ s daughter.  She raised me on Shirley Temple and Doris Day movies.   She sang me songs like” You’ re the cream in my coffee.  You’re the salt in the my soup.  You will always be my necessity.  I can’t live without you.”  I watched Sheriff John who sang ” Laugh and be happy and the world will laugh with you.  When people see you smiling they can’t help smiling too.  When you look out the window on a dark and dreary day put on a smile and in a while the blues will go away.”  Great stuff to feed a child’s heart and mind.  Supported by God who said rejoice!  Pray all the time!  Always be grateful!  Think about whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable,  excellent, and worthy of praise.  This is the stuff  of a sweet life.  A life of happily ever after endings.  I believe in that because my God is The Good Shepherd and He promises He will never walk out on me.  He always has my  back.  He has plans for my life.   Plans to prosper me and give  me a future filled with hope.
