100 year old house with charm galore begs for a look and invites for more.
The wintry night though windows cold speak warmth and light of blue and gold.
The history made one can but guess.
But now is ours so on we press.
To live our lives inside these walls
enjoying the Summers, Springs and Falls.
But winter nights are specially sweet this is our home and dear retreat.
What do you think when you’re far away?
Do you pray to God for just one more day?
Do you feel the breeze while closing your eyes
Feeling blessed for each moment in paradise?
If only, if only it could always be so
Then joy through your heart would always flow.
You’d say in all times this life is rich
No problems, no worries, not even a glitch.
Well God brings the bliss and that’s for sure
He brings the bliss and some manure.
He brings a shovel to clear the stall
And lots of flies that dot the walls
Then rain and hay and extra hands
That ease the work and make you glad
Yes glad you find in work or play
When finding God in every day.
Knowing Him through pain and tears.
Knowing Him in all your fears.
Knowing He knows, yes knows it all
That He’ll pick you up whenever you fall.
Yes, be glad when there’s nothing you lack.
But gladder still when God’s got your back.
Light is beautiful wherever you find it.
Peeking through trees and laceing green leaves.
Or kissing petals at morning’s first light.
The dew on petals the dew on grass shine like diamonds and are gone so fast.
Then in places unexpected the light brings shine and reflects the beauty of sky and pine.
Even passers by seem halo adorned in white with morning glow. Do they see it on me?
Now on the fence
Or down beneath the kiss of light is just as sweet.
Now through the fence
Or through the bough
Close to the bark
Or in a row
It all sings glory
And softly invites
See me. See me. See me!
Sweet Camilla shy and soft and dear. How you bend in deference to all who would come near. You have no barb to defend you. No will to resist the hand that plucks you from your verdant home or say no to its demand But you are pure and simple beauty yes , inside and out. For I desire to be like you and all you are about. .
I thank Thee God for sight
that I can see the light
That I can know and judge
The right from wrong.
I thank Thee Lord for eyes
Your words that make me wise
And ears that hear Your love
In every song.
It’s in the little things
Like little diamond rings
My walls like melting snow
Come gently down.
Then I see that I am free
To truly now be me
For You have cut the cords
That had me bound.
In May the mountain sings with life. The grass proclaims “I’m here!” The flowers smile so sweet and nice “The snows are past. No fear!”
