The flip side of every command is a promise

Standard

I love the Lord for so many reasons. Chief of which is He is incredibly intentional. He is the one who looks you right in the eye and says, “I know the plans I have for you. Plans for your welfare, not your calamity, to give you a future and a hope.” Hope is always best translated as divine expectation. God wants you to have a divine expectation of Him, because He has one of Himself. I love when God commands things. I love when He issues a commandment because every commandment, the flip side of it, is a promise.
