I love those questions because I don’t want to pray too quickly, I want to pray properly.

Standard

We have been given the Holy Spirit that we might know the things freely given to us. So God wants us to know before we pray. There is conversation we have before we get into the business of prayer. We just contemplate, we sit, we meditate, we think, we ask questions, “So, Lord, what are You doing? What do You want to release? What are You seeing right now when You look at this thing? How do You think about this?” I love those questions because I don’t want to pray too quickly, I want to pray properly. I think sometimes if we don’t pray properly, we pray out of fear and panic and we’re nowhere near where God wants us to be.
