You have to do more this year than last year, and next year you’ll do more again.

Standard

The presence of God empowers our rejoicing and our thanksgiving. You have to do something in worship this year that you didn’t do last year. You have to grow in your rejoicing. You can’t ever be matter-of-fact about praise or about rejoicing or about thanksgiving. You have to do more this year than last year, and next year you’ll do more again. Why? Because it’s about passion, it’s about desire, and it’s about delight. We are learning to delight ourselves in the Lord.
