Church is not a place we go to. It is who we are together.

Standard

Jesus only mentioned the word “church” two or three times in Scripture, but mentioned the “Kingdom” almost eighty times. He clearly wanted to keep our understanding of the Church as fluid as possible. Ekklesia, the Greek word for Church, means more than just a simple gathering; it can also mean a company of called out people. We are a commi ed band of people, meeting together for a common purpose. Church is not a place we go to. It is who we are together.
