Sufferings are a means to an end. Randy Alcorn

Standard

If we have no eternal future as resurrected people living under the benevolent rule of King Jesus, then our present sufferings will ultimately be worth nothing. If we have such a future, however, then no present suffering—regardless of its scope—will prove worthless. In fact, such sufferings are a means to an end: incalculable future goodness. “Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all” (2 Corinthians 4:17). http://www.epm.org/igig
