God doesn’t see as humankind sees. We look at the outward appearance of somebody, and we are so used to making judgments in life. We take everything at face value. What does that mean? If you don’t look the part, you are not the part. So everyone has to wear uniforms of one kind of description whether it’s a five hundred dollar suit or a glitzy dress and big hair, whatever. Everyone is wearing a uniform. Why? Because we are all trying to conform to something, and there is no freedom in that kind of conformity. In fact, freedom is frowned upon in large sections of our culture, really. Seeing in the Spirit is not about seeing with your natural eyes. It is actually about seeing something that is invisible to your natural eye. You have to see with the eyes of your heart.
