    • “As noted in the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care, “cough CPR” is not useful for unresponsive victims and should not be taught to lay rescuers.”. Absolutely. 😂This is intuitive. How, in all of God’s green earth, could a rescuer possibly think of getting an unconscious victim of a heart attack to cough? But if you are alert and alone it might buy you time after you call 911 to get the EMTs to you before you pass out. The life you’re saving may be your own.👍😉❤️
