Who will wipe away His tears?

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God , I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
Ezekiel 33:11 KJV

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

Revelation 20:11 KJV

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Revelation 20:12 KJV

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Revelation 20:13 KJV

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Revelation 20:14

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 20:15 KJV

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Revelation 21:3‭-‬4 KJV

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Revelation 21:4‭-‬5 KJV

I have read these verses many , many times in the past and always came away feeling vindicated, relieved, encouraged, exultant, hopefilled but today I wept. I am on a journey of discovering that God is ALWAYS the initiator. We love Him because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19. God pressed us to love and serve and care for each other because HE IS LOVE!

God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked so he pleads with them to change their ways yet one day there will come the day of reckoning when He will stand in judgement and say “Time’s up!”. The Bible says one day those who have chosen well, the path of forgiveness through the shed blood of Jesus, will have all their tears wiped away. Then I remembered all my friends and acquaintances who up until now have firmly placed themselves on the wrong side of the cross. They have chosen stubbornness, skepticism, disbelief and self righteousness despite the pleadings of God to choose life. I totally love these people. They are so dear and precious to my heart. There are so many wonderful things about them because they, as all mankind, bare the image of God. But the Bible says clearly “All we like sheep have gone astray. We have turned every one to his own way but the Lord laid on him (Jesus) the inquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6

Much more than being now justified by His blood we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:9

Then, as I am reading about this final judgement and thinking about all the lost that I love and my heart is absolutely breaking, I think of the One. The very definition of love, the One who invented before all creation a way to rescue mankind and provide the ultimate payment for a debt we could never , ever pay. Isn’t He crying at the day of judgement? Doesn’t His heart break and overflow with tears at the death of the wicked? Who will wipe away His tears?
