Sometimes after leaving something you realize you could have enjoyed it – if you had fully embraced it.

The fantasy of escape is not a healthy hiding place. (See Psalm 119:112-114)

We all have moments or even seasons of wanting to RUN AWAY: from it, from here, from this, from them. And sometimes it’s necessary & brave to move on. But remember this – the fantasy of escape is usually not reflective of reality. You are often comparing what REALLY is to your imagination of what MIGHT be. It’s an unfair and inconclusive comparison. Sometimes after leaving something you realize you could have enjoyed it – if you had fully embraced it.
