When you tell people what’s wrong with them and what you don’t like about them, you’re not speaking the truth about them

Standard

When you tell people what’s wrong with them and what you don’t like about them, you’re not speaking the truth about them, you’re speaking what you think is true. Jesus said, “I am the way into the Truth and the Light.” It’s the truth that sets you free. Speaking something over somebody will not set them free. It just makes them shackled even more in the difficulty of their problem. Speaking the truth in love is when you are saying to people, “You don’t need to do that because this is who you are.” You tell them their identity.
