May your marriage be marked by Christ-like love in action.

Standard

Love. The meaning of the word has become harder and harder to distinguish in modern culture. Is love something that happens to us? Is it a feeling to be chased?
Love is something we give and it’s something we receive, but we must remember that love is primarily an action and a choice before it’s a feeling.
Feelings of love (i.e. romantic affection) come and go with circumstances or moods. But true love–the action of love–remains, regardless of how we feel.
Love is gritty. Love is selfless. Love always seeks the good of another before our own.
Jesus showed this kind of love on the cross when he died on our behalf.
May your marriage be marked by Christ-like love in action. And may you experience the deepest joy that only comes from knowing the One who loves you more than you can ever imagine: Christ.
Keep loving fiercely,

Ryan & Selena
