Graham Cooke: We pray like one who is beloved.

Standard

Pray until God grants you something. Then when God grants you something you stop praying and start proclaiming, “I have this. I am this. I can do this. This is on me. This is in my life. I can rise up. I can occupy this place!” You come in to that spirit of proclamation. It’s the promises of God that changes from praying like a widow to praying like a bride. We pray like one who is beloved. When God grants you something, you take Him for granted because that’s what He loves!
