  1. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.(KJV)

Pray without ceasing, does that mean Jan we don’t stop to eat or sleep or do anything else? No we do what is natural for us to live but we are to always be centered on the Hope we have in Christ Jesus, our Hearts are our cupboard of Prayer and God hears and answers and even gives us our Heart desires, which will be according to His will when The Holy Spirit prays for us.

Romans 8:26-28 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should Pray for as we ought but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And He that searcheth the Hearts knoweth what is the Mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the Saints according to the Will of God.

Jude 1: 20 But ye, beloved building up yourselves on your most Holy Faith, Praying in the Holy Ghost,

  2. In all we do the indwelling Holy Spirit is praying for us and carrying on conversations with us. It is more and more my reality that I include Him in my thoughts and reactions as my counselor, teacher and friend. When we abide in the Christ and the Holy Spirit we’re less vulnerable to the attractions of the flesh which is unstable in all its ways.and more alert to Satan’s lies and counterfeits as we soak in God’s Word. When we live in prayer we are able to be more quick to listen, slow to speak, less reactive, devoted fully to our God and what He cares about. It’s a wonderful we way to live.🤗😊❤️

  3. It’s True Jan that we are to work out our Salvation not meaning work for it. When we are Born again of God’s seed the Old Nature has gone, we have a New Nature because we have God’s seed and no longer Sin, yes we put to death our Carnal flesh by The Spirit .( Romans 8 :12-15- Romans 6 – Colossians 3:4-6 -Galatians 5:24 -26) and we Aim to be Perfected in Love (Matthew 5:48 – Hebrews 6:1-Philippians 3:14-16 -2Timothy 3:17-1John 4:16-19- 1John 2:4-6- 2Corinthians 13:11) and we will than be as Jesus in this World, Holy and Righteous.

1 John 3: 1-11 ( 9 ) No one who is Born of God will continue to Sin because God’s seed remains in him he cannot go on Sinning because he has been Born of God.

1John 3:2 -7 Whosoever abideth in Him Sinneth not: whosoever Sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him. Little children let no Man deceive you, he that doeth Righteousness is Righteous even as He is Righteous.

1John 5:18-20 We know that no one who is Born of God Sins but He who was Born of God keeps him and the evil one does not touch him.

John 8:34-36 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth everyone who Sins is a Slave to Sin. Now a Slave has no permanent place in the family but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you Free you will be Free indeed.

Romans 6:6- 7 For we know that our old self was Crucified with Him so that the body of Sin might be done away with that we should no longer be Slaves to Sin because anyone who has died has been freed from Sin.

Romans 6:18-20 Being then made Free from Sin, ye became the Servants of Righteousness.

1 John 2:4-6 He that saith I know Him and keepeth not His Commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth His word in him verily is the Love of God Perfected hereby know we that we are in Him He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk even as He walked.

1John 4:17-19 Herein is our Love made Perfect that we may have boldness in the day of judgment because as He is so are we in this world. There is no fear in Love but Perfect Love casteth out fear because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made Perfect in Love. We Love Him because He first Loved us.

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto Perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises dearly beloved let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit Perfecting Holiness in the fear of God.

Daniel 12:10 Many shall be Purified and made White and tried but the wicked shall do wickedly and none of the wicked shall understand but the Wise shall understand.

  4. “we are to always be centered on the Hope we have in Christ Jesus, our Hearts are our cupboard of Prayer and God hears and answers and even gives us our Heart desires, which will be according to His will when The Holy Spirit prays for us.”

These words from your first response to this posting are beautifully said and resonate well with me.

I’m a little confused by your response to my following comments. Did you feel I was correcting you or off base? I noted this because your tone went from sharing, which was sweet and open to tutorial with a barrage of Bible verses which made me think you took exception when all I did was post a Bible verse in a pretty picture to start with.

    • No Jan I did not feel you were correcting me or you were off base, I mostly share God’s Truth in Love with the confirmation of Scripture, which means it’s not just what I Think is True it’s God’s Truth, the Scriptures are all inspired by Him and so are Powerful to convict, uplift and reassure.

Many in the Churches are not taught to put their Carnal flesh to death or to Aim to be perfected in Love or even to ask for God’s Wisdom and empowering, some are even taught that we go on Sinning until we die, which contradicts Scripture .

Have you shared Jan about God’s Truth that is confirmed in the Scriptures I shared with you, if so I would really appreciate the Links so I can respond.

      Blessings – Anne.

      • I am glad I asked for clarification as it helps to better understand each other. Thank you for sharing your reasoning behind the multitude of verses you insert.

  5. The Scriptures are God’s Truth Jan not just what I think or what others believe, without Scripture we have no foundation, all of them are inspired by God and with His wisdom and Empowering of The Holy Spirit we understand and Mature in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 3: 17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God
and is profitable for Doctrine, for Reproof, for Correction,
for Instruction in Righteousness. That the Man of God may be Perfect and thoroughly equipped to do all His good works.

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have Hope.(KJV)

Acts 17:2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three Sabbath days reasoned with them out of the Scriptures. (KJV)

    Blessings – Anne.
