My daughter and her husband gave me a harbor cruise through groupon for mothers day. Well I waited until the gift was almost expired and realized, in a panic, her gift would be tossed away if I didn’t get myself in gear and set it up. Turns out we didn’t make reservations in time for this weekend but if we just showed up we might get in. I was so sad thinking how my daughter would feel if I had to confess I messed up and didn’t take advantage of her gift. I prayed and prayed and showed up. And, thank God, they had room on their first evening cruise so we got to see the sunset! My husband and I had an amazing date entertained by pelicans, seals cormorants, cool boats, paddle boarders, and capped it off with pizza and a pint at BJ’s pizzeria. Nice!
